The KaWuM (Konferenz aller Werkstofftechnische und Materialwissenschaftlichen Studiengänge) is the German federal conference of student representatives of materials science and materials engineering (BuFaTa MatWerk). The KaWuM takes place about twice a year, about once per semester. It is organised alternating by committed student councils.
The BuFaTa MatWerk deals with specific and study-relevant topics at the different universities of the member faculties. At the conferences, a lively exchange between the student councils is maintained and networking is promoted. The BuFaTa also represents the interests of the German students in the main areas of study that concern us.
